The brief
An overgrown back plot behind a gate that the owners had never really used. They wanted to bring it into the garden, attract wildlife and avoid endless watering.
What we did
We cleared the plot, dug a lined wildlife pond with shallow beaches and marginal shelves, and planted native marginals and water lilies. A smart drip system with a rain sensor waters the new borders around it.
The result
A living pond that has drawn in wildlife within months, surrounded by planting that looks after itself — the system only waters when the weather hasn’t.
